During setup, we collect your Full Name, Email, LinkedIn URL, and your Resume/CV content. This forms your "Master Profile."
We use this data exclusively for our "Smart Fill" automation and our "Missing Skill" AI analysis. Your profile is strictly used to match and fill out third-party job forms on your behalf.
The ApplySync browser extension requests permissions to read the active tab. We ONLY activate and read data on supported job boards (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, LinkedIn). We completely ignore all other websites and do not monitor or track your general internet browsing history.
Using AI efficiently means preserving strict boundaries regarding your personal intelligence and data.
ApplySync does NOT use your personal resume data to train public or foundational AI models. Your job history is entirely yours.
When applying to a job, your data is sent to our LLM providers (such as OpenAI via our secure backend proxy) purely for real-time form mapping. This transmission is subject to strict "Zero Data Retention" enterprise agreements. Our AI providers process the request in memory, return the mapped fields, and immediately discard the payload.
As a company founded and operating with global standards, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act of India, we guarantee stringent data rights.

You own your data completely. Users have the absolute right to withdraw consent and request the immediate deletion of their professional profile and resume data from ApplySync servers. To invoke this right, you can wipe your data completely from the Account Settings dashboard.

We absolutely do not sell user data to recruiters, headhunters, marketing agencies, or third-party advertisers. The only third-parties who receive access to your data are the companies you manually choose to hit "Submit" and apply to.
